Kumasi stands up for YFM Area Codes

The Kumasi City Mall was the place to be last Saturday when the YFM Area Codes Jam stormed Oseikrom for the first time on Republic Day, July 1, 2017.

Last Monday’s event which was the second in 2017(the maiden was hosted at the Trade Fair Centre) attracted thousands of music lovers who were charged to jam the night away and not even the rains could stop patrons from enjoying themselves.

As a characteristic of the YFM Area Codes Jam, the artistes too did not disappoint their numerous fans who had come to watch them. Yaa Pono displayed a top notch performance and excited the crowd.
He used the opportunity to stamp his name as one of the best Hiplife stars in Ghana.

As the final act for the night, Flowking Stone showed why he is one of the best rappers in Ghana as he gave his “home” fans a wow performance. Lil Shaker also joined Kojo Cue for a great act and the duo sent a signal to music lovers to watch out for them.

Also, underground musicians such as Denk ills, King Paluta, Amerado, Sorakiss and NT4 were given the opportunity to showcase their craft.

Area Codes Jam sponsored by Guinness Ghana Limited is an annual entertainment show held in some selected communities around the country. The first edition of this year’s series took place in March at the Trade Fair Centre in Accra.
