Here comes Tongu music festival
The first Tongu Music Festival will be held at Tefle and Battor in the Volta Region on Saturday, December 14, and Friday, December 20.

The first show is scheduled for 7.00p.m. at the Tefle Royal Beach. Veteran keyboardist, King Benjah, and his Boomers band will be in attendance. Also due to feature are Efo Charlie ‘Hicafuso’ Osabutey, Bob Carlos, Yaa Pono, Eduwoji, Togbe and others.
The second event would be held at the Battor Joy Beach on Friday, December 20, to mark the annual Asafotu festival of the chiefs and people of Battor. King Benjah, a native of Battor, will be there again with his retinue to thrill music fans in and around the North and South Tongu area.
“There will be crowning of Miss Battor and it is going to be a lot of fun. The Tongu Music Festival will be an annual affair,” said King Benjah.
Hicafuso and Aluta Record Label are the main organisers of the Tongu Music Festival.
