Habiba Sinare is Miss Supranational

Miss Habiba Sinare has been crowned the new Miss Supranational beauty queen at the finals which was held at the Las Vegas Leisure Centre in Accra last Saturday.

She beat eleven other contestants to emerge the winner on the day. The contestants battled it out in the various segments of the pageants such as the Question and Answer Time which was to test their eloquence and understanding of current affairs and the Dance segment. 

Miss Habiba Sinare will be representing Ghana at this year’s Miss Supranational International which will be held in India later this year.

The second  place went to Miss Magdalene Abbey and Miss Perpetual Williams placed third.

Special awards were also presented to some of the contestants who excelled in the various competitions such as Miss Photogenic, Miss Congeniality, Miss Elegant, Miss Eloquent and Miss Top Model.

The Miss Supranational journey started with 18 contestants but eventually, six of the contestants who couldn’t live up to the expectation of the judges and the public were voted out before the finals. 

The show attracted some notable showbiz personalities such as actress, Kalsoume Sinare.

 The judges for the show were actresses, Gloria Sarfo and Helen Asante, model instructor, Princess Blaka, and Richmond Arhin, Creative Director of Big World Media. 

This year’s event was sponsored by Lily’s House Entertainment and Shinesworld Production, Busy Internet, MJ Grand Hotel, Airport West Hotel, Accra Mall, Valley Stream Hotel and Las Vegas Leisure Centre.
