Samini’s Untamed Virtual Concert tonight

Reggae/Dancehall artiste Samini is joining the ranks of musicians holding concerts online as he gets set to hold his own version tonight.

Dubbed Untamed Virtual Concert, the event, which starts at 4 p.m., will be streamed live on all of Samini’s social media pages, including his Youtube account.

Performance

Currently in Canada, Samini is expected to perform for close to an hour, says Yaw Sarpong Kumankuma, a member of the Obaa artiste’s team.

“The Untamed concert is Samini’s quest to connect with his fans in Africa and the world and further lay emphasis on the dangers of COVID-19 and the need to observe all preventive measures to curb the spread,” he said.

On what his fans should expect, Yaw said, “Nothing less than a great performance as he has always done over the years. Samini has carved a niche for himself as far as performance is concerned with his experience and knack for live band for over 20 years.”

Untamed album

Samini’s Untamed Reggae album, released last year, has powerful songs which have received attention in Ghana and beyond.

The album has 22 songs, including Rainbow produced by Quick Action, Untamed, Reggae Nice, WorldWide by MixMasta Garzy, Island Girl and Ethiopia.
