Obrafour’s Back to Taifa concert tonight

For rapper Obrafour, the suburb of Taifa in Accra cannot be taken out when one talks about his storied career.

This is the suburb that supported him when he was still an unknown artiste and the people there are dear to his heart.

And that is why he is holding a concert dubbed: “Back To Taifa” as his way of giving back to the people for their love tonight at the Taifa Lorry Station.

Organised by Kris Concept and Execution Entertainment, the Back To Taifa concert is not only Obrafour’s thank you to the people of Taifa but to give to his loyal fans, a taste of what to expect at the upcoming Pae Mu Ka concert on November 9 which marks his 20th anniversary in music.

The 7 p.m. Back to Taifa concert features a tall list of Ghanaian artistes including Tinny, Kwaw Kese, Pappy Kojo, Joey B, Fameye, Ras Kuuku, Guru, Dogo, Nero X, Joe Frazier, Lil Win, Paa Kwesi, TeePhlow and Barosky.

The others are Kofi Nti, Paa Kwesi, Postaboy, Fantana, Tulenkey, Eva Mariah, Yaw Labito, Kweysi Swat and Ball J.

In an interview with the Daily Graphic, Justice Oteng, a member of the organising team, said they saw the need to give back to the fans at Taifa for their loyalty to Obrafour.
“We are putting together this concert for the people of Taifa because they have been very supportive of Obrafour’s career. When he was not famous, they supported with all they had and it is only right to return the gesture now,” he stated.
Justice Oteng also mentioned that after the Back To Taifa concert, the premiere of Obrafour's Pae Mu Ka documentary will follow before the main concert .
Other activities to mark the anniversary are a Hiplife Symposium, Pae Mu Ka Docuseries, Pae Mu Ka Cypher and Pae Mu Ka Concert Tour.
