GMB’s Badu premieres new show, Unscripted today

Former contestant of Ghana's Most Beautiful in 2016, Dora Badu Owusu Adomah known as Badu is set to start her own TV show called Badu’s Unscripted.

Set to be premiered today at 5 p.m on Badu's Unscripted YouTube channel, the show looks into the lives of young individuals who are committing a great deal of skill and energy into impacting society.

Humorous and educative

Giving details about the show to the Daily Graphic, Badu said, “As a young lady, I have had the chance of interacting with people my age who are doing amazing things but their stories are not heard and I have decided to be their voice.

“I’m sure if someone or a platform did not give me the opportunity to exhibit my talent and what I am made of, I won’t be here today. Yes, we will have fun but at the end of the day, someone’s voice will be heard and he or she will be celebrated,” she said.

On what the audience should expect, she said, “Badu’s Unscripted is primarily a fun-sharing moment. We expect that audiences can at all times have a good laugh after watching the show.

Again, the show seeks to inspire; the guests on Unscripted are individuals who are constantly working to bring about change in their various communities.

“It is our hope that stories of this nature can help to motivate others to take up similar change agent causes.

Badu is also the Executive Director of Help a Girl Foundation and the co-founder of Miss Golden Stool pageant.
