Nominations for Exclusive Men of the Year Award Africa (EMY Awards) aimed at honouring and celebrating men of excellence, ends tomorrow, organisers of the event Exclusive Men’s Magazine have announced.
Scheduled for the Banquet Hall, State House on Tuesday, June 28, some of the categories for the award include Best Groomed Man, The Guardian Award, Man of the Year in; Business, Communication, Governance and Mentorship.
The others are Ultimate Woman of the Year Award, Man of the Year in Philanthropy and Humanitarian Award, Man of the Year in Technology and Inventor award, Man of the year in sportsmanship award, Man of the Year in Entertainment and performer awards.
Speaking with Showbiz, Kojo Rana, a member of the organising team, said he was surprised at the overwhelming response since it opened nominations two weeks ago.
Many maiden events are not successful but Kojo Rana said his team are working hard to give Ghanaians a credible and a well-organised event.
“The team will make sure the event is successful with little or no flaws. We are still in talks with the artistes who will be performing on the night,” he said.
