Bernard launches I’m Redeemed

Gospel artiste, Bernard Amankwah, who for the past eight years has blessed lovers of gospel music with his annual Celebration of His Grace concert, is set to release his latest album, I’m Redeemed at this year’s event scheduled for the National Theatre on Sunday, September 20.

The five-track album which has songs such as I’m Redeemed, Come to Jesus, Hossana, Wo YƐ Onyame, and YƐ ka Bia Tie was recorded at the Titled Track Studios and mastered and engineered by Zapp Mallet.

Backed by His Presence Ministry choir on all the songs, Bernard, known for songs including His Presence and Mercy Rescue Me made his strong presence felt as he used the platform to address many important issues relevant to the life of Christians.

He preaches about the saving power of God on I’m Redeemed and Come To Jesus but switches to the praise mood on Hossana where he sings in adoration of his Maker. On Wo YƐ Onyame, he brings the world’s attention to the wondrous nature of God and his various attributes as a divine being.

But it seems the Presence artiste had a word of advice for young men on YƐ ka Bia Tie where he cautions the latter to be wary of immoral acts which ruin their lives and make them unprofitable to the society in their old age.

“I’m Redeemed touches on all the relevant issues important to a Christian’s life and encourages us not to fall for the temptations of the world but trust in the Lord despite the difficulties that may hinder and shake the foundation of our faith,” he stated.

According to Bernard who is preparing feverishly for his upcoming concert which has OJ, Rev. Thomas Yawson, Gwendolyn and Tyra as supporting artistes said, “I have prepared adequately to take believers to the presence of God”.

Other albums he has to his credit include His Presence, Almighty and Mercy Rescue Me.
