The T.Y. choir won the Most Disciplined Group and Best Costume awards wennt to ARS.

The winners, Akoo Show gave a good impression of themselves right from the start of the show and it was no wonder they eventually emerged winners at the end of the programme.

Their own renditions of songs by Sonnie Badu and Wulomei didn’t only endear them to the patrons present but also won them the admiration of the judges, Rev. Thomas Yawson and Ben Amakye Boateng, from the University of Ghana’s School Of performing Arts.

Organised by TV3, the choral music contest lasted for a period of eight weeks  and was aimed at grooming and mentoring amateur choirs in the country.
