ZTV makes entry
ZTV, a 24-hour entertainment channel will from April 1, 2015 start operation on Multi TV. The new channel is a subsidiary of Lynx Entertainment, which produces Lynx TV, the popular TV show, on Viasat 1.

The move, according to the management of Lynx Entertainment, is to provide quality showbiz content to its viewers.
In an interview with the Daily Graphic, the CEO of Lynx Entertainment, Richie Mensah, explained that even though the channel had been in existence for a while, it’s been rebranded to satisfy the entertainment demands of viewers.
“The idea behind ZTV is to create the best entertainment channel in Ghana. We will be showing the best series, talk shows, entertainment programmes, movies, and all the music videos one will ever want to see.
“Anyone with a Multi TV, Strong, Champion or any KNet decoder, can watch ZTV. We want to make sure that once someone starts to watch ZTV, the person will stick to the channel. Lynx promises nothing but the best,” he stated.
He said his desire to change the face of entertainment prompted him to shelve his career as a musician and work behind the scenes, which, he noted, had paid off.
“Lynx Entertainment is not new to show business and we hope to bring our expertise on board to make ZTV the leading channel among its competitors,” he added.
Lynx Entertainment has managed many artistes including Eazzy, Asem, Irene Logan and Zigi but had to part ways due to what Richie said were “irreconcilable differences”.
