Malaika goes traditional

The weekly tasks have begun and last Sunday, the 16 finalists of the ongoing Miss Malaiaka Ghana 2014 pageant visited their roots and displayed very colourful and interesting traditional performances to the admiration of their fans and television viewers.

The delegates were divided into three groups and competed in two keen segments. In the first segment, the delegates made a short presentation through dance and music with the theme “Unity in cultural Diversity”. 

The second segment involved a general knowledge quiz covering traditional costume, food, tourism, festivals and lifestyles from all the 10 regions of Ghana.  The culture episode was chaired by Mawuli Semevor, a veteran actor.  

Based on their weekly tasks, the  first eviction is expected this Sunday as the first delegate exist the competition.
