Family and Friends premieres tonight

A 30-minute show that highlights what goes into planning social events such as weddings, birthday parties, anniversaries, festivals and naming ceremonies is set to be premiered tonight on Metro TV.

Dubbed Family and friends TV Show, it is to highlight tradition, fashion and glamour associated with these social events.

The first segment of the show highlights scenes from plush weddings , weddings of famous people and a white carpet where guests tell the host “who” and “what” they are wearing.

Co-host and Executive Producer of the show, Faiza Mohammed said the show, aside promoting tradition, gives viewers an idea of what goes into planning an event.

“There is a special segment where we engage vendors who give details of how to plan for an event, budgeting, wedding accessories and make up, and venue selection.”

Fans also get the opportunity to hang out with their favourite celebrity on the show.

The Family & Friends show would be aired every Saturday at 7.30pm.
