Double premiere on Viasat this week
Viasat 1 continues to unleash great programmes for its viewers and tomorrow Tuesday, June 3, the channel will premiere a new telenovela, Passion, and follow it up the next day, Wednesday, June 4, with another premiere, a star studded series, Real Husbands of Hollywood.

Passion stars a host of TV Globo’s most renowned actors and the story revolves around family relationships in Brazil and Italy and the secret lifestyle of the characters.
Passion kicks off on Tuesday at 3 p.m. and will air every weekday, taking over from A Woman’s Sacrifice, which ends today.
Fifty-five years before the story begins, Beth, pregnant by another man, meets and marries Eugene Gouveia, who initially pledges to raise the child as his own.
Throughout her life, Beth believed her son had died at birth, but Eugene, on his death bed, reveals that he could not bear the thought of raising another man‘s child and had in fact given him away to an Italian couple, together with a large sum of money, to be raised in Italy.
Meanwhile, in Tuscany, Toto Mattoli, a widowed farmer, leads a quiet life with his elder sister, his children and his grandson. He is content and lives in blissful ignorance of his true heritage.
An astonished Beth, the matriarch of a large business empire, learns that she was married for years to a liar. Unsure of how to tell her own family about the existence of this new heir, and not knowing where he is, she sets her mind to finding him and granting him his rights to the family estate.
While pondering what to do, Beth confides in Claire, Eugene‘s nurse, who was present at the time of his confession. Claire agrees to secrecy, but sees the chance of a lifetime. She plots with her lover, Fred, to win over the heart of Beth‘s Italian son and seize his inheritance.
Passion has won several international awards including the Seoul International Drama Awards for Best Drama Series, and many other awards for Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Newcomer, among others.

The second premiere, Real Husbands of Hollywood, follows the daily lives of Boris Kodjoe, Duane Martin, J.B. Smoove, Robin Thicke, Kevin Hart, Nick Cannon, Oliver (Hart's assistant played by James Davis) and Nelly as they venture through their surreal life in Hollywood.
Episodes often hinge on the "real" Kevin Hart's desperate unsuccessful attempts to climb Hollywood's celebrity social ladder (which always backfire in humiliating ways), and the character's barely-hidden jealousy of his more successful celebrity friends.
Special guests during the first season include: Laila Ali, Jennifer Freeman, Russell Simmons, Melanie Fiona, Estelle, Cedric the Entertainer, Shane Mosley, Elise Neal, Keri Hilson, Rocsi Diaz, Alec Mapa, Terry Crews, Tisha Campbell-Martin,Takhorra Taylor, Young Jeezy, Nicole Ari Parker, Jay Leno, Ed O'Neill, Shaquille O'Neal, Faizon Love, Common and Trey Songz.
Real Husbands of Hollywood premieres on Wednesday at 9 p.m. and will air at the same time every Wednesday.
