Distinctive qualities

Responding to why Wizkid was chosen for this concert, Mr Engmann said it was due to a number of his distinctive qualities.

“He is a celebrated African artiste doing great things on the continent and abroad, and at a special place in his career where he has the world's eyes on him.

“Wizkid is very much loved in Ghana and the timing of this concert will give the audience a chance to soak in the new sounds of his new album called More Love, Less Ego,” he explained.

Additionally, he noted that among other qualities, Wizkid had the capacity to fill the stadium.

“Due to the extensiveness of his discography and the especially wide range of his supporters, he brings together both the young and the young at heart, Africans and Westerners alike, crafting a uniquely diversified audience,” he said.
