Wendy Shay walks out of interview with Accra FM's Nana Romeo
Afrobeats musician Wendy Shay has not had it easy with music lovers and the media since she joined the music industry.
She is regularly trolled on social media for nearly every post she makes and has had brushes with some media houses over some of their questions but now she has had enough and is taking action.
On Tuesday, June 9, Wendy Shay walked out of an interview on Accra FM after she was badgered with questions about whether she was having an affair with her label boss, Bullet of Rufftown Records.
She had appeared on Accra FM's mid-morning show, Ayekoo Ayekoo, hosted by Nana Romeo to promote her new single but the presenter threw her with questions about her relationship with Bullet.
While Wendy Shay denied she was having an affair with Bullet, Nana Romeo kept up with the question claiming to have evidence that they were indeed together and that got to Wendy Shay who said she couldn't continue the interview because he was asking unprofessional questions.
She said she didn't know what Nana Romeo was trying to prove but she wouldn't allow him to do that to her. She apologised to listeners and walked out of the studio but refused to turn back when she was called back.
