According to GAW president, Kwasi Gyan-Apenteng, the focus of the programme is Ghana and the poems, stories and songs will all celebrate the country’s independence.

“The general public will be invited to read their own tributes to Ghana if they wish. Everyone is encouraged to wear something that identifies Ghana as an inspiration in some way,” said the GAW president.

The programme which is from 3.00pm to 6:30pm is free to the public.
