Sincerely Accra tops Ghana’s Spotify podcasts
Podcasts have become a beloved pastime for many people around the globe, and data shows that Ghana is joining the trend.
And since launching in Ghana, popular audio streaming subscription service Spotify has noticed a keen interest in podcasts among Ghanaians and has been tracking the popular ones.

The latest ratings of top podcasts in Ghana by Spotify Africa over the last 90 days has revealed a curious mix of religious and relationship-focused podcasts.
For the third quarter of this year, Sincerely Accra, a vox pop-driven podcast set in Accra has topped the podcasts on Spotify. The show is hosted by Joseph Nti with Kwame Asante as producer.
Articulate One, a lifestyle show that focuses on entertainment and relationship placed second with Apostle Joshua Selman, a weekly programme organised by the Eternity Network International where listeners tune in to worship and listen to other discussions around Christianity, coming third.
Divercity 1 Love Christian Network, a podcast on Gospel music, love songs, sermons and Bible teachings and Joel Osteen Podcast came fourth and fifth respectively.

The official podcast of comedian Joe Rogan, The Joe Rogan Experience and CEYC Airport City Podcast, faith-filled messages from Christ Embassy Youth Church, Airport City placed sixth and seventh as well.
Short Sex Stories podcast and TED Talks Daily placed ninth and tenth respectively.
The rest of the top 25 podcasts range from paranormal shows to motivational shows such as Supernatural with Ashley Flowers, Motivational Speeches and 7 Good Minutes Daily Self-Improvement Podcast.
In an interview with Graphic Showbiz, Joseph Nti, co-creator of Sincerely Accra, mentioned that the team was focused on putting out episodes that their audience supports.
“Kwame and I found out in April that we were the top show on Spotify, and having our hard work be validated felt pretty amazing - especially with our pretty intense production schedule with an episode out every two weeks,” says Nti.
