Ruach Hakodesh is Kofi Owusu Peprah’s latest song
It seems there’s no stopping for gospel singer, Kofi Owusu Peprah this year.
The Matwen hitmaker kicked off 2023 when he joined other revered Gospel artistes including Joe Mettle, Nigeria’s Victoria Orenze and Boaz Danken and Dr Ipyana from Tanzanaia to perform at the Grace Encounter show hosted at Grace Arena Ministries, Nairobi, Kenya.
He was also part of the Gospel All Stars who performed Piesie Esther’s W’aye Me Yie song as the opening act at this year’s Vodadone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) held at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) on Saturday, May 6.
Last month, Kofi successfully hosted his ‘Live in Tema’ concert and just some few weeks, he is out with a new song titled Ruach Hakodesh.Ruach Hakodesh is the Hebrew translation of the Holy Spirit and the song was released on Friday, September 15.
According to Kofi, it is his expectation that the latest song, which is a live recording, will bring everyone into a perpetual consciousness of the person and works of The Holy Spirit.
“For those of us who profess the Christian faith, we have to appreciate the role of the Holy Spirit as our helper, comforter, guide and our teacher.
“It is my prayer that this song will inspire the spirit of fervent prayer and worship in our hearts, as we yearn to receive, and operate in the gifts and fruits of The Holy Spirit,” he stated.
The lyrics of Ruach Hakodesh is a passionate call on the Holy Spirit to come and strengthen our hearts and minds to be steadfast.
Kofi Owusu Peprah told Graphic Showbiz it was a privilege to "Sing Hallelujah To The Lord", originally written by Linda Stassen-Benjamin as part of the musical work of his new song.
Last year, he held his first concert, The Father’s Gift and followed up with “Kofi Peprah Live in Concert”. He is working on the release a new EP soon.
