Pep, others get nods for Tertiary awards

ORGANISERS of the Ghana Tertiary Awards have announced the final list of categories and nominees for the 2015 edition of the awards scheme, which seeks to recognise and reward students who have affected society and their communities through their contributions in their various fields.

Richmond Amofa Sarpong, CEO of Youth Web Entertainment, organisers of the award announcing the list of nominees and categories at a press conference, disclosed that the award would be held on Friday, 6 November at the National Theatre in Accra.

Mster Pep, known in private life as Kwadwo Amoah Mfoafo Pep, a level 400 BSc Marketing Student of the University of Professional Studies in Accra and a correspondent for Graphic Showbiz has been nominated in the category of the Most Influential Student Writer of the Year, competing in that category with arts and entertainment writer, Zion Felix among others.

Other personalities who received nods at this year’s awards are Miss Malaika winner, Eirene Nsudoon Binabiba, MzVee, Prince Dovlo, Jason, Regina, Kalybos among others.

Known as the powerhouse exciting events on campus, Echo House Ghana was also nominated for the Best Event House and will compete for the honours with Campus Base TV, Y Campus Express among others.

The event is set to attract all students to the National Theatre to celebrate campus biggest night.
