Ohemaa Mercy leads the Youth to Christ

Gospel artiste Ohemaa Mercy  led hundreds of students at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology to a time of “praise and worship” when she hosted the “ Repu Praise Break 2015” at the Republic Hall last Saturday.

The show was part of her “Youth For Christ” campaign, which saw her perform at the Mensah Sarbah Hall of the University of Ghana a fortnight ago.

Saturday’s show, which was organised by Ohemaa Mecry Ministries, BN Micheal Ministries and the Republic Hall, offered students of the institution exhilarating stage performances.

The 6:00 p.m. concert saw performances by Minister Quame Gyedu, Nana Kwadwo Tuffour, Naa Mercy, Gospel Explosion, Minister Igwe and Francis Amo. They set the tone for Ohemaa Mercy to dish out song after song, much to the delight of the students.

She treated the patrons to some of her popular songs such as Wobe Ye Kese, Wofiri Mu, and Menwu Da.

In an interview with the Daily Graphic, Ohemaa Mercy said, “It is at this time that the youth engage in vices that jeopardise their future. This is the time we must teach them  godly ways to help them abstain from such negative acts and that can only be possible if they have the word of God at heart,” she stated.
