Mighty Malt joins the groove

THE  entertainment industry in Ghana has received a major boost from Jamaican firm, Grace Kennedy Ghana Limited, producers and marketers of Mighty Malt drink, following the company’s announcement of a sponsorship plan for events and individual performers.

In a statement at the official launch of Mighty Malt in Accra, the Sales and Marketing Manager of Grace Kennedy-Ghana, Mr Adolf Dogbe, stressed the company’s commitment to sponsoring and supporting credible events as well as helping Ghanaian performers in the arts and entertainment to promote their acts.

To show that the company is truly dedicated to the promotion of the arts, Mr Dogbe said, “We are already in motion. Grace Kennedy has sponsored the winner of the Best Video Award at the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Knii Lante, to launch his album in Jamaica”.

In a telephone chat before he travelled to Jamaica, Nii Lante confirmed the sponsorship deal, saying it was secured by his international agent. He also expressed his appreciation for the package.

Discussions were also underway for Grace Kennedy to consider artiste (s) as brand ambassador(s) for the company’s products in Ghana, which include Mighty Malt and Tropical Rhythms drinks.
