Medikal rocks Roll Koll
Hiplife sensation, Medikal was the toast of the day at the 2016 edition of Roll Koll which came off Saturday, September 3, at the Aviation Social Centre in Accra.

Over the years, the event has seen artistes such as Stonebowy, Joey B, Yaa Pono, D Black, Keche, Double, Trigmatic among others performing to students and this year was the turn of Medikal.
Medikal thrilled the enthusiastic crowd of SHS students to a repertoire of his hit singles and used the platform to kick off his tour of senior high schools dubbed, the Medikal High School Tour.
The event, which is the sixth in the edition was organised by Planet One Multimedia and witnessed a massive turnout of students from the various high schools across the country.
The students represented their schools in activities and competitions such as eating competition, jama contest, dance and rap battles, fashion shows, Maggi SHS Cooking competition, pool table, video games among others.
According to Gilbert Boakye Nhyira, CEO of Planet One Multimedia, the 2016 Roll Kall had the biggest ever turn out since the inception of the annual event.
“The turnout this year was highly impressive and it’s the best I have witnessed so far. We had students from schools from all across the country and it was obvious they were having the time of their lives,” he said.
Gilbert added that, “At Planet One Multimedia, we believe that a healthy brain resides in a healthy body and as such, we strive to provide a healthy environment where high school students can socialise and let off steam after a hectic academic year.
“ I would like to wish all students a safe trip back to school and urge them to study hard, concentrate on their books and stay away from vices,” he said.
