Matilda arrives with Abandenden
After many years of performing as a backup dancer for many prominent gospel musicians, Matilda Agyemang Prempeh has mustered the courage to step forward onto the music scene with her own album titled Abandenden.

On Abandenden, Maltilda sings her heart out as she worships God for protecting her and helping her make the right decisions all the time. She explains that God never disappoints that is why she always runs to Him in times of trouble.
On Menkomshe which is the artiste’s favourite track on the album, she praises God for always defeating her enemies. She encourages everyone to put their trust in God because He will never disappoint them.
The album is is a very good effort by Matilda who features Joyce Blessing, S.P Kofi Sarpong and Francis Amoh to get her message across. There are three worship and three praise songs on the album.
Matilda who is married to Agyemang Prempeh of Rainbow Radio began her dancing career a decade ago when she came into contact with gospel musicians, Ohemaa Mercy and Christiana Love.
She has since danced for different gospel musicians and has established her dance group called Magingo dancers.
In an interview with Showbiz, Matilda said even though this is her maiden album, Ghanaians should watch out for her.
“Having been underground for a long time, I have been able to do a lot of research to know the kind of songs that appeal to Ghanaians and I know once I start dropping them, my name will be everywhere”
