Making sense of my win means I'm doubting God’s ability – Diana Hamilton
Gospel artiste Diana Hamilton has said she doesn't want to doubt God's ability by trying to understand her huge win at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) as Artiste of the Year.
The Adom singer became the second Gospel artiste to bag the Artiste of The Year trophy at the event which came off at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre on Saturday, June 26 and run into the wee hours of Sunday, June 26.

Her win has been met with mixed reactions with some suggesting that Afrobeats artiste KiDi, who did exploits in the year under review should have won.
However, Diana Hamilton remains unfazed and has taken strength and joy in the lyrics of Capable God, a song by Nigerian Gospel singer Judikay.
In a post on Instagram some hours after her won, Diana wrote, “family, what God cannot do doesn’t exist. I’m trying to put this all together but making sense of it means I’m doubting God's ability.
"To everyone who supported me through your prayers, words of encouragement public or private support I am grateful, it's been a long day in a bit, this is to encourage somebody out there, the road might be long but it's will be worth it just trust the process."]
Diana Hamilton became the second female artiste to win the Artiste of the Year after Ebony Reigns won posthumously in 2018.
She also picked up three other awards on the night; Vodafone Most Popular Song of the Year, Gospel Artiste of the Year and Gospel Song of the Year.
KiDi won EP of the Year, Afrobeats/Afropop Artiste of the Year, Afrobeats/Afropop Song of the Year and Highlife Song of the Year.
Other winners were Kuami Eugene who won Highlife Artiste of the Year; Adina who also had an amazing night winning Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Reggae/Dancehall Song of the Year; Medikal won Best Hiphop/Hiplife Artiste of the Year, Eno Barony won Rapper of the Year with Mr Drew taking home New Artiste of the Year.
Sarkodie and Kuami Eugene's Happy Day won Best Collaboration of the Year, while Kwesi Arthur won Best International Collaboration for his song Baajo with Nigeria's Joeboy and Kofi Kinaata was given the Vodafone Green award for his campaign against illegal fishing.
Epixode won the much coveted Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year, Keche's No Dulling won Hiplife Song of the Year and Kumerica's Yaw Tog won Hip Hop Song of the Year with Sore.
There were performances from KiDi, Adina, Okyeame Kwame, Yaw Tog, Efya, Kwesi Arthur among others as well as a tribute to Hiplife artiste Castro who disappeared nearly seven years ago.
