I’m not bothered by critics—Nana Ama McBrown
Popular Ghanaian actress and television personality, Nana Ama McBrown says she is not bothered by critics who are condemning her move from Despite Media's UTV to Media General’s Onua TV because she worked very hard to earn her enviable brand.
Speaking with Johnnie Hughes on the Sunrise Show on 3FM92.7 on Tuesday, March 14, Nana Ama McBrown said she has no regrets joining Media General since she prayed about the decision and she is happy God is moving her to another level.
“I will not let anybody’s opinion about the decision I make condemn my movement. I have really worked hard to get here. I promise that I’m not bothered by critics.
“I’m so happy for moving on and to the next level God is taking me. To be honest, something must happen behind to move forward.
"So long as I am here, I have no regret. I have not hurt anybody and I will continue to build who I am", she said.
The dust finally settled on popular actress, Nana Ama McBrown’s new 'home' following a jamboree of a welcome by Onua TV to officially announce her joining the Media General team yesterday, March 13.
Rumours of the pretty TV personality parting ways with Despite Media’s UTV had been rife in the last few weeks when television presenter, Gloria Akpene Nyarku-Acquah popularly known as MzGee started hosting United Showbiz a fortnight ago but the cat was let out of the bag yesterday.
The glorious reception was carried live on all Media General outlets including all their social media platforms.
After her welcome party yesterday, some of her former colleagues at Despite Media such as Kwame Nkrumah Atekesie, Abena Moet and Ola Michael have slammed her for what they perceive as ingratitude and betrayal to the Despite Media family.
