GOtv arrives in Kumasi
After a successful launch in Accra earlier this year, new digital terrestrial television (DTT) service, GOtv has rolled out its services to Kumasi. The service was launched last Thursday.

GOtv is the first operator in Ghana to launch a DVB-T2 digital pay TV service. Therefore Kumasi represents one of the most advanced DTT broadcast systems and infrastructure established, not only in Ghana, or Africa, but in the rest of the world to date and leapfrogs the outdated DVB-T1 (or ISDB-T) systems.
Garden City residents are now set to benefit from easy access to an increased number of channels, with enhanced picture and sound quality synonymous with digital television at a price they can afford.

GOtv channels are selected to ensure that subscribers get an exciting range of channels, which will cater for the whole family. The line-up is designed to cater for a variety of different tastes and cultures.
They include all the major leagues : English Premier League, Spanish La Liga, Italian Serie A and German Bundesliga plus UEFA Champions League and Europa League.
Some of the channels that are available to GOtv subscribers are Africa Magic, Africa Magic Movies, Blackbelt TV, Disney Junior, CNN, SuperSport Blitz, Select Sports, Discovery World, NatGeo Wild, Vox Africa and Channel O.
