Dave Jloopz in Praise

Young contemporary gospel artiste, David Jloopz, has always craved for a platform to praise his Maker and that need and passion inspired him to host his first Over Flow  concert last year.

And this year, the old student of the University of Education and the Overflow Inc. Ministries have gathered some of the notable names on the gospel music front for this year’s “Grace Experience” concert scheduled for the Liberty Assemblies of God Church at Lapaz on Sunday, September 6.

Joe Mettle, Ike Nanor, NiiElla, Pastor Isaiah, Joycelyn Armah are the artistes billed to lead patrons in a time of praise of worship. The host choir, Overflow Inc. Ministries, and the PL Crew are also expected to treat patrons to renditions of some popular songs.

In an interview with Showbiz on Monday, Dave Jloopz, real name, David Fortunatus Tagoe, said his passion for the work of God has been his “inspirational tool” in his musical journey.

“We must teach the youth the right path and events such as this help to impart the knowledge of the word of God into the patrons. It is also an assembly to appreciate God’s blessing in our lives and his purpose too,” he said.

His passion for the work of God influenced a decision to resign from his banking profession of seven years to venture into full time music production and ministry work.  A native of Takoradi, Dave Jloopz is married and holds a degree in Business Management from the Central University.

He has worked with artistes such as Joe Mettle, Cwesi Oteng, Kofi Karikari, Ohemaa Mercy among others. He contributed significantly to the formation of DJ Concepts (Record Label), a youth evangelism and music ministry and is the leader of Overflow Inc., Ministry established in September 2013.
