Singer, Boadiwaa, has risen from the status of an unknown act to one sought after for major shows, especially those with gospel flavour.

Her new, I Rise song, which will be released on Tuesday, April 26 on social media and radio, reflects the determination and staunch belief that has lifted her to the new level:

I will press on

I won’t give up

I’m gonna rise on the wings of the eagle

I‘m breaking forth

I’m breaking through

‘Cause He who lives in me is greater than

He who is in the world

A compelling performer who has been showcased on the Ghana Stands In Worship, MTN Choralfest and numerous other platforms across the country over the last few years, Boadiwaa has certainly arrived and she sounds that out clearly on I Rise.

Those who have followed the music career of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology-trained Information and Communications Technology specialist, can testify to her distinctive abilities as a worship leader and song minister.

Her nine -track debut album titled Utawaala Wa Neema (The Reign of Grace in Swahili), points her out as a versatile singer, and that collection opened a lot of doors for her.

The new single shows her off as a spirit-filled, motivational singer able to capture hearts and minds with her sweet voice and meaningful lyrics.

It has always been her burden to arouse faith in God’s power and presence among believers through her music and she rises to that challenge in I Rise.

Boadiwaa has plans to bring out a few more singles soon but for the moment, she trusts I Rise will touch relevant hearts and bring souls to God.
