Bessa band, Raquel return to "Soul II Soul"

The June edition of the popular old school music programme, Soul to Soul, is set to come off tomorrow, June 7 at the +233 Jazz Bar and Grill in Accra.

The event will feature the Bessa band led on keyboards by Bessa Simmons and soulful singer, Raquel. There will also be deejays and top-rated guests artistes in action with back-to-back old school tracks.

An incredible ambience was created by the organisers at the last session with laser, smoke and lighting effects. The right party mood existed as the Bessa band hammered away on its own and later backed Raquel, Ofie and Barima Sidney.

The organisers were obviously delighted with the whole affair and decided to bring back the Bessa band and Raquel for a repeat of the May magic.

The June edition promises to be even more exciting with the special attractions that include a complimentary champagne cocktail and the now famous complimentary kenkey, fish and pork served in the early hours.

With tomorrow’s Soul to Soul happening in the rainy season, the organisers are working on weather protection to battle any adverse conditions.

“Patrons should get ready for good quality entertainment. All they have to do is to be at +233 on June 7 for the time of their lives,” says public relations consultant Mariam Adams, on behalf of the organisers.

Soul to Soul comes off on the first Friday of every month. It is organized by Karl Aubyn Events and +233 Jazz Bar and Grill with Citi FM as partner.
