Atinka Kids Dance launched, winner to receive 10k

Atinka Media Village has launched the maiden edition of Atinka Kids Dance with 10k as the ultimate prize package.

The launch which took place on Saturday, March 4, at the premises of Atinka saw the 60 contestants between the ages of 8 to 15 coming on stage to display their dancing skills.

There will be evictions for 13 weeks after which the final winner will be selected.

Apart from the ultimate winner walking home with Ghc10,000, the second winner takes him Ghc8,000 and the third place takes home Ghc6,000. 

Speaking at the event, Mrs Patricia Daidoo, Chairlady for the show said their outfit want to encourage the habit of dancing among children which is so important.

“After a successful Di Asa show we felt the need to come up with a dance show for the kids and we very positive it will go well just like Di Asa did. We were amazed the turnout of children when we did the auditions, it shows that the children are willing to show their talents” she said.

 According to her, the children will not be housed adding that the competition is not going to affect their academic calendar.

 “This will be done  every Saturday and the children will not be housed like the other competitions. The children get to train in their houses and exhibit their talents on Saturday
