Wan Row’s out with EP after 10 years

 

For more than a decade, he has been in the ghettos of Korle Gonno trying to find his feet in the music industry and after a long struggle, Dancehall artiste, Wan Row is out with an Extended Play (EP) of three songs.

All three songs, Real Warrior, One Girl and Wrong System, were produced by Riddim Boss. 

On Real Warrior, which happens to be his favourite track on the EP, Wan Row talks about his hustle in the ghettos of Korle Gonno and how he is going make it big in no time.  And that he is a warrior because he never gave up when he went through trying moments.

The bearded young man goes on to say that because Jah protects him, he will always succeed no matter the challenges he goes through. 

He describes his longtime girlfriend as the prettiest girl on planet Earth on One Girl. He dedicates the song to her saying he would never do anything to jeopardise the relationship he has built with her for many years now.

With his deep voice coupled with his ragga style, he is sure to go far. He has already had the opportunity to share one stage with artistes such as Tinny, Buk Bak, Stonebwoy, Ras Kuuku and Pope Skinny.

Wan Row who is signed onto Suumoni Records released couple of songs before his EP but he could not promote them due to lack of funds. 

Speaking in an interview with Showbiz, Wan Row, real name, Edward Quaye said being underground for more than a decade enabled him learn so many things.

“I was disappointed by several people including very good friends but I guess that was to make me tough. I am now ready for the market and my latest EP can attest to that,” he said.
