I Rule the World is a controversial song that has raised a lot of questions among the public. Nonetheless, it is directed at motivating and inspiring the youth to build their confidence to change the world around them positively.

According to Rev. Prince Nyarko, the song is prophetic and seeks to change the pattern of gospel and secular music in the country.

Its slow rhythm and tempo cannot stop one from tapping his feet or nodding his head as the song plays. The song talks about Christians knowing who they are and where they stand.

According to the song, anything made by God overcomes the world and words in the song such as “I am created to rule the world, anything made of God is the light of the world therefore it is made to shine and rule the world”, attests to it.

Cwesi Oteng also re-emphasises with a verse that reads “I am an overcomer and I am born to win”.

In an interview with Showbiz, Rev Nyarko said, “The youth must focus on building their future through positive acts, confessing words of support and thinking big and bearing in mind the Bible’s pronouncement that the world is controlled by words of the mouth and faith.”

In his concluding words, he urged gospel artistes to take their time and consider the kind of music they put into the public domain adding, “it is very difficult to correct a wrong after it becomes a hit.”

Rev. Prince Nyarko is a graduate of Maximillian International University and has three albums to his credit. He is a married man with two children. Aside music, he is a missionary, a revivalist and psalmist.
