“I’m really excited to have received an endorsement from an international artiste like Fuse ODG. It means a lot to me and it is an acknowledgement that all the efforts and hardwork I’ve put in my music is paying off to some extent.

“It also tells me that there is a lot more work to do in order to get me live up to the expectation people have of me in order to become the best in the country”, he told Showbiz last Tuesday.

Predy-X believes that the time is right, in the wake of the favourable public attention he is receiving to make a name for himself by dropping a 15-track mixtape, Road To Success .

Road To Success is a collection of highlife, hiplife, lovers rock, reggae and blues; as well as assortment of covers, renditions of some popular African rhythms together with original materials from Predy-X Omane.

On the mixtape, Predy-X Omane  manages to put a unique twist to some songs such as George Darko’s classic highlife song, Money Palaver, Kwabena Kwabena and Samini’s Adultz Music and Travis Baker and Bruno Mars’, I Want To Be A Billionaire.

The songs on the album address a variety of topics.  For example on Slow Jam; he talks about love and heartbreak and he sings about determination and the drive to succeed on Fire.

Predy-X Omane, real name Samuel Omane-Mensah, who has been making music for over 10 years disclosed that the reason he decided to remain underground was the fact that he wanted to perfect his craft before coming out.

“I’m still on the ‘struggle’ to become one of Africa’s best artistes. I just see my whole life as the definition of music so I just can’t stop now.  I feel music is part of me so every time I wake up, it’s just creating new stuff into the system,” he said.
