Predy-X back with Happy Day

Having made waves on the music scene earlier this year with the release of his mixtape titled Road to Success, Afrobeats artiste, Predy-X Omane, is back with a new single that is sure to capture the attention of music lovers everywhere.

The single, which was premiered on Accra based radio station, Hitz FM by Andy Dosty, is titled Happy Day (Bu Bi Di). On the song, Predy-X Omane shows how much he has matured by switching from his usual music genre of hiplife and Afrobeats to explore the highlife genre. 

The song is a light-hearted tune that talks about the joys of life, friendship and unity. In the song, Predy-X Omane entreats listeners to forget their problems such as the lack of money and instead partake in the joy of drinking. 

Predy-X Omane also advices listeners on the song to gather their friends around them to drink and make merry irrespective of their present circumstances. 

The song is well put together and the beat consists of a variety of musical instruments. In an interview with Showbiz last Friday, Predy-X Omane said the decision to switch to highlife was to test his abilities instead of limiting himself to a single genre. 

“I believe as an artiste, I have to be versatile and not restrict myself to one musical style. I decided to try something new and the result has been very encouraging. Anyone who listens to the song will be impressed,” he said.

He explained that he considers 2015 to be a very important year in his career since he has plans to release a number of surprise works with some African artistes as well as his debut album, which would be titled, Late But Latest.
