Okunafuo from Daniel
He might not be popular in Accra but Kumasi based gospel artiste, Daniel Kusi has made a name for himself in the Ashanti Region.

In 2012, he released his maiden eight track album, Ebe Ye Yie and now he is back with another album, Okunafuo featuring Nhyira Betty
Songs on Okunafuo recorded by Obeng Mix include Menwu Da, Forward Ever, Asem Papa, Senea M’ayeyi, Menwuma, and Gyae Su.
On Menwu Da, a praise song, he sings about how his enemies seek his downfall but he triumphs because of his faith in God. He goes on to say that God protects His children from danger and anyone who believes in Him will never die but survive any danger by the devil.
Daniel sings his heart out on Okunafuo urging individuals to support widows. He explains on the song that God loves a cheerful giver and He would reward anyone who loves to give.
Nhyira Betty brings her style to bear on the song. She testifies about the power of giving in her version and how she has benefitted from the act.
With inspiring messages and great instrumentation on all the songs, the album if well promoted could get a lot of patronage.
Videos of most of the songs on the album are on Youtube as well as on TV.
In an interview with Showbiz, Daniel Kusi who has performed at most of the big events in Kumasi said he intends to promote his new album well in Accra to get new following.
According to the native of Nwineso in the Ashanti Region, he is optimistic of finding his feet in Accra soon as he plans to perform at some events to give him the needed recognition in the nation’s capital.
