Music variety on Independence Day

A variety of artistes have been laid on for this weekend by the +233 Jazz Bar and Grill at North Ridge in Accra to celebrate Ghana’s 57th independence anniversary and International Women’s Day.

The programme for tonight, March 6, has been dubbed GMW Festival  Jam Zone. 

Musicians on the bill include   Bessa Simons and band, Della Hayes, Ben Brako, Felix Owusu, Naa Agyeman, Nana Aboagye DaCosta and more.

Another edition of the monthly Soul To Soul event is slated for  Friday, March 7. It is a night for nostalgic music of yesteryear performed by bands  and deejays.

The band in action for this month, is the Patch Bay Band led on electric bass by  Philip Acquah. They will perform songs from diverse old school genres. A surprise guest will be there to add a special tinge to the event which is held on the first Friday of every month.

Saturday, March 8 will have soulful singer Ofie Kodjoe and a bevy of other lady singers in the house to commemorate International Women’s Day.
