Mojae sings for his mother

Mothers are most often described as ‘supreme beings’ who support their children through thick and thin and it is in this light that upcoming Afro beats artiste, Mojae, has dedicated his new song, Mama Pray for Me, to his mother.

Mama Pray For Me, talks about the difficulties of life and the challenges one faces in the quest to make his mother proud.

It also advices the youth not to give up as nobody knows tomorrow and situations can change.

Born, Justice Kwesi Arkoh, Mojae, explained in an interview with Showbiz, that the song is also dedicated to anyone who is willing to do something for his mother but is unable to do so due to the difficulties of life.

"I was inspired to record this song because I want to give my mother a better life. I am from a poor home but that hasn't deterred me from achieving my aim in life and putting smiles on the face of my mother" the former student of GSTS said

The Level 300 student of the Ghana Institute of Journalism ( GIJ) who has actively been doing music for the past three years stated that his current financial state has hindered his progress as an artiste.

"It is difficult to promote your music in this industry if you don't have a solid financial backing. People will always demand money from you to help you get your song out there and with my current state, it has been very difficult meeting their demands" he lamented.

Currently signed to Takoradi based Melody Afrika Music, Mojae said he is inspired by Stonebwoy because of his ability to overcome his past situation to work hard to become an international artiste.

Mojae, the seventh of eight children, says he also hopes to work with top Ghanaian artistes such as Sarkodie, Efya, Stonebwoy, Mr Eazi and MzVee.
