Last MTN Hit-Maker audition in Accra
After stops in Takoradi and Kumasi, this year’s MTN Hit-Maker production team rounds off the audition sessions on Saturday, July 4, at the studios of GhOne Entertainment TV in Accra.

Reports from Kumasi indicated that hundreds of wannabe artistes converged at the Miklin Hotel last Saturday to see how they could impress the selection panel and get themselves on the road to stardom.
“Many young musicians have come to see MTN Hit-Maker as a practical and genuinely supportive route to take off with their careers,” said Admiral Abbey, Events and Sponsorship Manager at MTN Ghana.
“That is why the two previous auditions for this year have been so well-attended. We believe the Accra session will attract even more people. “
Tagline for this year’s contest is: “Breakout: Be Who You Wanna Be.” Young musicians who believe they have what it takes to hit the limelight are therefore being invited to be part of the Accra audition.
Interested persons can log on to www.mtnplay.com.gh to register and upload a demo if available. Demos can also be dropped off at any MTN office. Registration can also be done at www.mtnplay.com.gh. The audition team can also be directly approached at the studios of GhOne Entertainment TV in Accra.
Naterial, Koo Ntakara and Torgbe have been respectively crowned winners since the emergence of the MTN Hit-Maker show in 2012. Several other young people have also used the route to gain public attention.
At the end of the auditions, 12 finalists would be unveiled before eviction shows kick in till four contestants are left to battle it out for the ultimate prize of a recording deal worth Gh¢100,000.
