Kobi B dropsThe Way You Follow

Even though he aspires to be one of the biggest business tycoons in Ghana one day,   singer Kobi B believes that pursuing music for sometime will give him the exposure he needs as well as the capital to start a business.

And to start filling his ‘capital basket’, the up and coming musician has dropped  his first single titled The Way You Follow last week Wednesday.

The song talks about a young man prophesying his undying love for his woman who is willing to follow his advice and do his bidding.

And in appreciation of that he goes on to talk about how he is willing to spend on his woman in order to make her happy.

According to Kobi B, the reason for coming out with The Way You Follow  is to tell men  to appreciate the women in their lives.

“I have seen some men take their women for granted and only realise what they have lost when the women leave them. I believe that when someone loves you, you should not take their affection for granted because when you do that and you lose them, they are gone forever and it will be difficult finding a replacement,” he said.

Kobi B, 19, real name Kobi Imoro started singing at a tender age of eight but took it seriously when he got to his final year in junior high school. He is optimistic that The Way You Follow and subsequent ones will help him get into the lime light.

“From the comments I have received from family and friends especially on my social media fun page after I released the song and the rate at which my song is being aired is a sign that gradually my work is being acknowledged,” he said.

Kobi B, a second year  Business student of Our Lady of Mercy Senior High School, Tema grew up in Koforidua and sees Chris Brown, Justin Beiber and R Kelly as mentors and hopes to be like them in future.
