It’s Sponsor from Ebony

After releasing Poison which was well received by her fans, female dancehall artiste, Ebony is out with a new song called ‘Sponsor’.

It was produced by Willis Beatz and it addresses the financial challenges of young ladies which force them to date older men.

The energetic artiste talks about how rich, older men take good care of young ladies but can’t satisfy them sexually so they (young ladies) run to younger men.

The phenomenon, Ebony believes, has put many young ladies in a dilemma.

Though the song does not tell the ladies how to make their choices, it highlights the need for them to work hard for themselves and not depend on men survival.

“This is something we know happens. We cannot shy away from it though it may not be the right thing to do. I’m only addressing a prevailing situation in our society. The earlier we address it, the better,” she said in an interview with Showbiz.

She expressed gratitude to her management team, Rufftown Records, for spotting her talent. “I appreciate their support and love.  They have been the secret behind my success so far,” she stated.

Known for songs such as ‘Dancefloor’, ‘Turn On the Light’ and ‘Kupe’, Ebony said she had plans to collaborate with Sarkodie, Shatta Wale and other renowned artistes on her next project.
