Highlife greats in concert

A bash by some of the best-known names in Ghanaian popular music will come off tomorrow, December 19, at the forecourt of Broadcasting House,GBC, on the Ring Road in Accra.

Dubbed GBC Night With The Legends, the programme will feature Paapa Yankson, AB Crentsil, Gyedu Blay Ambolley, Awurama Badu and Akosua Agyepong. They will all be backed by  GBC’s PaceSetters Band.

The performers have chalked distinct successes on the music scene here and lovers of highlife, especially, should find the evening a thrilling one. 

The programme which is free to the public with Prince Essuman of UNIIQ FM as emcee, will be live on  GTV from 9.00pm. Veteran television director, Moses Gyapong, is in charge of the show.

“There could be nothing better than welcoming Christmas on a night of great highlife music. The performers are all great contributors to the growth of our music and I urge all to come party with them,” says Gyapong.
