Gyamfi cracks thro’ the underground

UPCOMING hip-hop artiste, Michael Baffour Berpong, known as Krack Gyamfi, in underground circles is out with his new single, One Day, which was recorded at Magnum studios in Accra.

The rapper who is currently independent with no label deal and a student of the University of Ghana says he always had love for music at a very young age but started to write music in junior high school.

One Day is a mid tempo song which features rapper and producer, Lil Shaker. It is fused with intelligent lyrics, rhymes and punch lines that address his personal struggle to make it in the music industry.

Lil Shaker, whose presence on the song is limited to the chorus, encourages Krack to push harder and that one day he will be successful.

“I have been unheard for a while now and I think it’s time I made a statement that I exist and ready for the music industry,” he said.

The Abeka Lapaz based rapper who looks up to rappers like Blitz, Manifest, E.L, Nas and Sarkodie won the Best Rapper of the Year award at last year’s High School Honours and was nominated for Rookie of the Year at the recent Ghana Teen Choice Awards.
