Francia Amo sings ‘Ngooba’

Some of the nation’s best-known  gospel musicians will on Sunday, October 26  perform at the launch of Francis Amo’s latest album, ‘Ngooba.’

Happening at the Liberty Assemblies of God at Abeka Lapaz in Accra, Supt. Kofi Sarpong, Ohemaa Mercy, Selina Boateng, Joe Mettle and the E’mpraise Inc. are some of the artistes expected to grace the event

The ‘Ngooba’ album  is a series of already-known church songs given a more  contemporary feel. 

Used by fisher folks in Cape Coast, Central Region and loosely translated as born to praise, ‘Ngooba’ is meant to reflect the singer’s humble beginnings in Cape Coast.

Francis Amo is not new to the music scene. He has been around for nearly two decades and collaborated with several gospel artistes including Ohemaa Mercy, Andy Frimpong Manso and Supt. Kofi Sarpong.
