Veteran actor and production assistant, Kofi Falconer, spoke to the Daily Graphic yesterday, hours after T. T’s death. “He was like a brother to me, we go way back to his teaching days. I’ve known him for more than 30 years, he helped my daughter gain admission, I was part of his two marriages. In terms of production, we worked on a lot of projects such as Taxi Driver, the series that made him a household name, Asimov movie, etc,” he said.

“It was just unfortunate that he got to a point in his life that his health kept deteriorating to the point where he couldn’t act anymore. In a nutshell, he was a good man who believed that tomorrow will always take care of itself. I will miss him,” he added.

Work Ethics

Socrates Sarfo, a film producer, who has worked with the late T.T on movies such as One Flesh, What Sex Can Do and Adult Only, said he fondly remembered the taxi driver actor for his work ethics.

“I have known him for 10 years and I can confidently say, he was gifted, when it comes to acting, its technicalities, he was on top, he was a natural actor, it is just sad that the new actors did not get the chance to learn from him,” he said.

Mikki Osei Berko, who acted alongside TT in Taxi Driver television series, playing the role of Master Richard, said the latter was someone he learnt a lot from.

“When it comes to work, I learnt a lot from him, I’ve known him for about 25 years, he was like a big brother, I call him a quality actor. The system was not fair to him, looking at his skills and passion for the creative industry; during his trying moments, he was left at the mercy of people. It is sad, he deserved better than he was given.”

Background

Adjeteyfio was in the news last year after he made public his financial predicaments.
