Afiba to release video of 'Nobody Knows'
It’s barely a month since Afro pop artiste, Afiba released her debut, Nobody Knows and already, the bubbly songstress is set to release the video on Friday, July 15.

According to the Stars of the Future 2009 contestant, video production has become an important element in music and as such, to keep up the vibrant image she’s building as a young artiste, she thought it wise to release a video quickly.
“Getting people to appreciate your talent isn’t always about the voice and songs. Sometimes, they need to see your image and brand as well and that is quite positive with video production.
“ If anyone has heard Nobody Knows but doesn’t know the personality behind the piece, I’m sure they cannot quickly establish a relationship when they see me. That is why a video is important,” she stated.
Shot and directed by Lex Machaty, the trailer of the video which has already chalked over 1000 views on YouTube shows some of the beautiful locations and gardens in the country’s capital.
Some of the locations that the video was shot are Osu, Legon Botanical Gardens and the Cantonments Post Office.
“I selected some of the nicest places and locations for my video because I want to sell Ghana to the outside world. It shouldn’t always be about negative images which paint a poor picture of Africans.
“I want the world to know that Ghana and Africa is also a beautiful place and thus erase those negative perceptions about our people,” she added.
Recorded by Nana Fynn, Nobody Knows is a love song which talks about how women go through emotional trauma because of love.
Currently signed to KB Empire Entertainment, the native of Kwahu Pepease in the Eastern Region said she’s been inspired by the success stories of some female artistes making waves in the country.
