Abena Ruthy out with video of Aseda
It seems musician Abena Ruthy always goes the extra mile to build her brand as a Gospel artiste since she launched her Higher Praise album.

The Lala artiste has been releasing videos to accompany songs on the album and just last week, she dropped a good one for her song Aseda which features Nacee.
Shot in settings in Akosombo, Kasoa, Weija and Kokrobite, the video shot by Skyweb opens with journalists interviewing Abena Ruthy who is also a banker on her success.
The artiste then recalls struggling while growing up but excels by the grace of God despite challenges.
And to showcase her new status as a successful person, Abena Ruthy is seen cruising on a yatch and visiting some exotic places.
The only minus in the video is the absence of Nacee, whose great vocals vibrate in the music but viewers are denied the opportunity to see him.
The exotic scenes in the video and its quality bring to attention how far the gospel industry whose players have slammed for their poor video productions have gone.
“The trend is changing and gospel artistes can’t always be tagged as not being innovative and always standing among shrubs for their videos. All over the world, video productions have become a great aspect of building an artiste’s brand and it’s important to keep up with the new development,” she stated.
Aseda, a Reggae piece is about God’s abundant grace, kindness and tender mercies.
It is off her seven-track album Higher Praise and the release of the video is a prelude to Abena Ruthy’s live DVD recording slated for October this year.
