Mantrac Ghana Limited will onThursday demonstrate to stakeholders in the quarry industry how the Caterpillar brand of heavy duty equipment can help grow their businesses.
The company will be doing that at the Mantrac Quarry Day, a special event organised by Mantrac which is the sole dealer in Caterpillar machines in the country.
The event is for stakeholders in the quarry industry and is expected to bring stakeholders together for them to witness live quarry site demonstration with Caterpillar machines backed by practical insight.
About 80 customers of Mantrac, drawn from the quarry and aggregate market across the country, are expected to participate in the event. It will be held at the Golden Equity Quarry and Mansco Stone Quarry sites, off the Accra-Nsawam road.
The Strategic Planning and Marketing Manager at Mantrac Ghana, Mr Daniel Pabby, explained that the initiative was aimed at exposing the capabilities of the Caterpillar machines and how they can help enhance the efficiency of quarry operations, improve end product quality and lower customers’ cost per ton.
The event will be on the theme 'lower cost per ton, All Day, Every Day.'
He added that the event was aimed at providing customers of Mantrac with best practices and expert consultation from Caterpillar in the quarry business.
Mr Pabby said the event was vital and an innovation in the quarry Industry given that it was the first of its kind to be held in the country.
Mantrac Ghana, which is part of the Mantrac Group, has been operating in the country for over 75 years, supplying equipment to companies in the construction, mining, material handling and power systems sectors of the country.
The quarry day will add to the series of activities that the company uses to help bring support its customers to realise the full potential of the equipment that it deals in.
