The security situation in Mali and Nigeria has dominated discussions at the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) extraordinary one-day meeting in Accra.
The extraordinary session which is being attended by Heads of state was addressed by President John Dramani Mahama at the opening ceremony.
After the opening ceremony there was a group photograph by the heads of state, after which there was a closed door session for them.
