The competition became clearer last Saturday after the University Of Ghana and the University of Education  Winneba (UEW) eased through the Round of 16 stage to book their slot for the quarter-final.

Today’s schedule

Today, Heritage Christian University College (HCUC) and the University of Cape Coast will stage the first quarter-final contest at the GNAT Hall at Nungua in Greater Accra.

UCC, a consistent performer in the competition, faces off with HCUC seeking to make a statement. The Cape Coast-based school has had it smooth-sailing in the preliminaries and the Round of 16 stage.

The contest is expected to be heated as each is eager to qualify to the semi-final stage of the competition. For HCUC this will be their first time in the semi-finals if they are able to beat UCC.

In the second contest of the day, University of Ghana will clash with the Ghana Communication Technology University.

The final contest will see the University for Development Studies face off with Central University (CU) in another epic clash for a place in the semi-final.
