Schneider Electric launches new range of circuit breakers

The EasyPact CVS range of Class II moulded case circuit breakers Energy management company, Schneider Electric has introduced a new range of circuit breakers - electrical devices that provide circuit protection in  monitoring and controlling power overloads – onto the Ghanaian market.

The range of EasyPact circuit breakers include the EasyPact MVS range of low-voltage power circuit breakers and switch disconnectors for applications from 800 to 4000 amps, the EasyPact CVS range of Class II moulded case circuit breakers (MCCB) for low-voltage applications from 100 to 630 amps, as well as the EasyPact TVS range of motor starters solutions from 6 to 630 amps.

Speaking at the product launch in Accra, the Country President of Schneider Electric, Mr. Marcel Hochet said the EasyPact product range are robust, reliable and affordable.

According to him, “all circuit breaker ranges within the EasyPact family are designed to operate in close coordination with each other to localize the impact of a fault and maximize facility uptime.”

Mr. Hochet said the EasyPact range is simple and safe during installation, operation, and maintenance. The robust nature of the circuit breakers and motor starter solutions are suitable for isolation, guaranteed to the IEC 60947-2 standard, and provide a highly visible and lockable contact position indicator to ensure operator confidence’.

Manufactured from premium materials in ISO 9001 and ISO 14000 certified production plants, he said the EasyPact range of circuit breakers and motor starters are fully tested and certified by national, international, and third-party organisations to all relevant safety standards.

The range is specially designed to match the requirements of the majority of common control and protection applications in medium-sized commercial, residential and industrial buildings in Ghana.
